1920s Walberg & Auge Low Boy Pedal w/ Cymbals

April 6, 2013

Walberg & Auge (“Auge” is pronounced like “Aww-ZHAY”) created equipment like hardware, rail mounts, cowbell mounts, etc. for major American drum companies for decades. This particular piece is what hi-hat stands looked like before they were raised up to stick-playing height. Some claim Papa Jo Jones was the one who pushed for the raised version. This is a cool little offering, and could be a neat part of even a modern drumset.
