1950s Slingerland Radio King Drumset

April 6, 2013

Another Radio King set today! By the 1950s, Slingerland was starting to develop a reputation as “your Dad’s drums,” and they’ve fallen behind in popularity and price versus other major American brands ever since. I think that makes them a great value, though, because they’re very fine drums. This kit has a gorgeous color, a nice big bass drum, and probably sounds amazing. The matching snare is key, because you may never find one if it wasn’t included! Great price on a great set of drums from a great drum shop.
